Wow, great, I always wondered if something like this is out there. It seems great for people like my kid, who don’t want to learn notes! —– Music Teacher

Your book really helps me understand how to approach playing the piano. I play guitar but, I have learnt more about music theory by reading your book. — Stephen
I tried to learn piano for months. I even went to private lessons, but still, I am having a hard time learning how to play. I almost gave up. But just recently, I discovered The Patented Piano Lesson and it astonished me! Imagine dreaming of playing piano for so long yet it is so hard to learn and now in just a couple of hours, I can play all my favorite songs. My wife was so impressed. What is also amazing, is I have also taught my wife and kids how to play as well. This system is truly revolutionary. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn piano. —-david { brooklyn,ny}
Since I was a kid, I was fascinated on how musicians magnificently strike the keys to hit the notes that make up their song. I love to listen to music especially that of instrumental. The piano instrumental is my most favorite because whenever I hear the pianist plays, I have this feeling of satisfaction that I believe music can only give. Because of this love for music I have that was born from me since I was young, I really want to learn how to play the piano or even a keyboard. But every time I ask my mother to allow me to enroll in a music class to learn even the basics of the piano, she will always tell me that it is too expensive. Knowing that I am still in college and I am taking up a course that requires a big deal of money to support and defray my expenses as a nursing student, I understand why my mother is quite hesitant to have me enrolled in a piano lesson. I am determined though to learn how to play the piano or even the keyboard for that matter because it is what I have at home. My brother- in- law left for a job opportunity abroad and he owns the keyboard so I was happy somehow to have something to use for practicing and learning. I bought music books that I think will help me learn to play a tune in the keyboard, but unfortunately, I found most of these books not really user- friendly. I found some difficulty in understanding the books’ concepts maybe because the books gave so much of the formal introduction that I don’t consider necessary for a simple- wannabe- pianist like me. Until finally, I got a copy of THE ROCKMASTER SYSTEM: RELATING ONGOING CHORDS TO THE KEYBOARD (ROCK) by WINSTON HARRISON. It is so much more of user- friendly that I am able to play the two sample songs included in the book. It uses easy and not too technical words that I easily comprehend the explanation and discussion it has. The author gives a comprehensive step- by- step procedure on how to strike a note and be a pianist in my own way.
I have always thought that playing the piano is difficult because it takes a musically inclined genius to read and understand the notes. Just as I was to give up the idea of learning how to be a mediocre pianist and just be mere contented with listening to my compact disc collection of piano renditions, my friend recommended me a book that discusses the easy ways of learning to play the piano. He even joked to me that as soon as I learn to play a tune of a song, I should try preparing dinner for my wife and play the piano for her because from there I will discover that my wife will fall in love head over heels with me all over again. And so convinced I was I rushed to get a copy of the book entitled THE ROCKMASTER SYSTEM: RELATING ONGOING CHORDS TO THE KEYBOARD (ROCK) by WINSTON HARRISON. Upon reading the book’s introduction, never have I found myself lost or bewildered with the purpose of the author for coming up with such masterpiece. I was impressed with his words: “The ROCKMASTER System is for people with music in them who don’t read music, but want to play keyboard accompaniment.” It is as if the book was intentionally published for me. I hurriedly went to my piano and followed the formula. It was as easy as a wink and as fast as a lightning that I was able to play gradually the notes or shall I say chords of my wife’s favorite song “You Needed Me” of Anne Murray. I practiced again and again, determined to learn more songs for my mini- concert in which my wife is the audience. I don’t know how genius Winston Harris is, that he was able to conceptualize such formula that is easy to follow. Let me just tell you this, I have just finished my mini- concert, and you know what, my wife was love- stricken all over again. She told me that she never knew that she married a businessman and pianist rolled in one.
The pastors have the holy book, the lawmakers have the constitution, the reporters have the newspaper, the chefs have the menu, and I… I have the ROCK (THE ROCKMASTER SYSTEM: RELATING ONGOING CHORDS TO THE KEYBOARD). I am not a musician but I love music. I am not a guitarist but I know how to read guitar chords, I am not a poet but I love to write lyrics, I am not a singer but I want to learn to play an instrument. Before, I wished to put melody into my songs but it was too impossible since I did not even know how to play a musical instrument. I tried playing the guitar and I was somehow successful. I already know how to strum and use the chords of A, B, C, D, and E. This knowledge I have is very limited yet I think I can excel more if I learn how to play a piano. It was a dream come true when I bought the Winston Harris’ “The Rockmaster System.” The limited knowledge I have about guitars became so comprehensive when I used the book to learn how to play the piano. I used the guitar chords that I know to learn the book’s system and formula. It was a wonderful discovery that even though that I had no formal schooling in music; I was able to learn how to use guitar chords on a piano keyboard. When I tried to put melody to the songs I have written, it was easier for me because I already have the concept that I learned from the book. It was a good feeling that right now I can share the songs I wrote to others and they could not believe that I was the one who put the melody on them. Thank you to Winston Harris and his ROCK for he made it possible for an out of school youth like me who loves music to be a musician in my own way.
